Assignment
To complete this first speaking assignment, you must do the following create your LinkedIn profile using the supporting discussion posts for your content. The presentation must be 4 – 5 minutes long.
What to incldue in your video presentation:
- Justification/explanation of your headline
- Discussion of your images (coverphoto and headshot) and how they correlate to your professional image
- Discussion of your summary
- Long-term goals of what you hope to complete by the end of your degree
Other elements important to your presentation:
- Organization
- Work choice
- Speaking rate/tempo
- Clarity in speaking
- Completeness of Information
- Writing and grammar
For the technical aspects of this assignment, you must:
- Use screen recording software on your computer such as Kaltura available from KSU (i.e. you cannot record your screen with your phone) and upload the link to a sharing site like KSU SharePoint (be sure to give permission so your video can be viewed by those in the class), Vimeo, or YouTube
- You may set the video to unlisted so that we can see the video but it cannot be found in a search if you prefer
- Share your embedded presentation link. It must be an embedded link or you will earn a “0” (i.e. I do not want to see the actual URL address)
