Discussion #2 – Personality Type and Career

This week’s discussion will be based on some of the information you researched last week. We will be looking at how your personality type meshes (or maybe doesn’t) with your Your Career Path

First, you must complete the test that can be found at 16 Personalities

In this post, you must share your personality type and provide an overview (and not a copy/paste) of what are some of the strengths and weaknesses according to your profile.

Questions to Answer:

• Do you think your personality type is reflective of who you are? Does it line up with how you view yourself?
• Do you think it corresponds with how others see you? (Feel Free to ask a family member or friend for feedback!)
• Are there parts that don’t correspond with how you view yourself and your strengths and weaknesses? What is incorrect?
• How well does your personality type correspond with the following parts of the O*Net listing (Your Career Path) for your job’s:
  • Abilities
  • Interests
  • Work Values
  • Work Styles
