Assignment
By the end of this semester, you will create a digital document (Adobe Creative Cloud Express webpage, Canva webpage, or stand-alone website) highlighting your research into your chosen profession. This is an opportunity to showcase your creativity while diving deeper into a career field or topic that interests you. Your presentation should reflect the outline you developed earlier in the course.
The primary goal of this project is to help you:
- Discover valuable information about your chosen career field, including the skills, qualifications, and industry trends necessary to succeed.
- Identify actionable next steps in your career journey, such as additional education, certifications, or internships.
- Build connections in your field by reaching out to professionals and learning directly from their experiences
- Develop a plan for the remainder of your educational journey to align with your career goals.
Final Project Components
Embedded Videos
- Include at least two videos that enhance your topic.
- These can be original videos, clips from interviews, or curated content from credible sources (e.g., YouTube, TED Talks, or professional organizations).
- Videos should provide insight or information directly related to your research topic.
Graphics
- Include at least two visual elements such as charts, graphs, infographics, or diagrams.
- These should support your topic by presenting data, comparisons, or trends. Tools like Canva or Excel can be used to create your own graphics if needed.
Interview
- Conduct and include an interview with a professional in your chosen career field.
- The interview should address at least 5 – 7 key questions related to the career field.
- Interviews can be conducted via email, phone, video call, or in person. Use this as an opportunity to network and learn directly from someone in the field.
- The interview can take one of the following forms:
- A video or audio recording of your conversation.
- A written transcript of the interview.
- A detailed synopsis summarizing the key points of the interview.

- You must use a minimum of six (6) reputable sources to support your research
- Sources may include the following:

- Trade publications
- Newspaper articles
- Interviews with individuals in your chosen field
- Educational and informative social media or blog posts written by leaders in your field

- Be sure to cite your sources
- Include a reference list at the end of your document using APA citation.
